Mota Motors (mota.net), an Internet startup located on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, seeks an engaging and enthusiastic individual for employment as a front-end and application-layer developer for our Internet product. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO to implement the front-end components and supporting application-layer features for our technology solution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of the company’s core technology platform
  • Drive the development of our front-end components
  • Analyze business and system processes for new/existing applications and transform them into technical design. Implement new applications and updates to existing applications
  • Handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
  • Build and support integration interfaces with third-party partners, as needed
  • Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the product and the business. Provide assistance in other areas where there is a need and a fit.
  • Work primarily with .NET 2.0 technologies, XHTML, XSL, XML, JavaScript/AJAX and Microsoft SQL Server

 

Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years experience developing with the .NET in C# (.NET framework 2.0)
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience of C#, ASP.NET and ADO.NET using Visual Studio.NET 2003
  • 2 - 3  years experience developing XML and XSLT
  • 2-3 years experience developing with JavaScript/AJAX and related Web technologies
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2005)
  • Proactive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of and experience with Business Intelligence, Web Services and Workflow Software concepts
  • BS in Computer Science

 

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
